I started playing guitar as a teenager in Fletcher and Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Since then, I’ve gotten to play with many different groups and also on my own. In 2021, I earned a teaching artist certificate and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies from North Carolina Central University. In addition to creating original music, I teach stringed instrument lessons, full-time high school music, and co-direct Bullhorn Arts and Education, a nonprofit whose mission is to amplify Durham, NC-area music through play, performance, and possibility!
